Modification of 47" Samsung TV

To overcome a thermal problem with visible image distortion after approximately 1hr, D3 added small heatsinks to the video memory chips and other IC's, plus this external fan mounted outside on the rear cover. Large Nixie Tubes

An exceptionally generous gift arrived today from an old friend now in Minnesota...four large Nixie tubes plus a full set of documentation and plans. My first guess is they are Burroughs B-7971's; click on title to this post for link to more information.

Remote Telemetry Instrumentation Unit

Arduino controlled remote telemetry box including battery power supply and wireless communication module with 6 mile range. Currenlty testing with temperature logging; plans include gps, accellerometer, magnetic flux, serial jpeg camera module, and other sensors.

Shown in first test location mounted under one of our radars in the back yard.
